Punch Buggy 4 Sickkids has raised about $10,000 for SickKids so far and we are still counting! Please get out there and help us raise more!
Well, the morning weather on Sunday pretty much squashed attendance for the 2010 Punch Buggy 4 SickKids Beetle Invasion. The weather in the morning was truly terrible!... We have no hard feeling for those of you who couldn't make it in the weather and don't blame you, rain and vintage cars just don't mix! But I do want to say a special 'Thank You' to those of you who did brave the weather!
As the afternoon rolled around the weather began to improve and we did get some amazing crowds to check out the bugs and listen to the music.
The Toronto Fire Department also showed up with an engine and let kids (and adults) climb inside and check things out.
Although the numbers and the crowds were down this year, we still had a great event! The totals are not in yet, but it looks like we have raised about $10,000 for SickKids so far! This is really amazing!
